Zyrtec should be properly used after discussing it with the doctor. Improper use might lead to damage as is the case with any other drug. Water is a preferable option to take with it. It can be taken on an empty stomach. Chewable tablets of this drug are also available. If you take a chewable drug make sure that you chew it properly. Take the right quantity if consuming it as a liquid with the help of a dropper or spoon for accurate measurements. There is hard and fast rule that it should be taken on an empty stomach. It can also be taken after a meal.
Storing zyrtec is not a tedious job at all. It can be stored at normal room temperature. See to it that it is kept away from moisture and prolonged exposure from light. Unlike other drugs there are no serious side effects to this drug. Take the help of your doctor if you have any side effects. Older people might have some side effects but t is fairly a safe drug to intake. It also does not affect the unborn baby, still pregnant women should take he advice of doctors before taking this medicine. Alcohol should not even be touched when one is getting treated with this medication.
Make a well charted routine for your medicine intake with the intake and try to follow it as closely as possible. Take the regular dosage of zyrtec to avoid any difficulties. If you forget to take a dose, act quickly by taking it as quickly as you remember about it. Ensure that you maintain the right time frame between two doses if you take one dose late. Antidepressants, muscle relaxants, sedatives, pain killers are some of the medicines you should inform your doctor about if you are already on it. Take the doctor’s advice whenever you have a doubt relating to it.
